Good to know

  • Text, headings, bold and italic, lists, tables, links and pictures are carried over.
  • The PDF uses a clean standard font, so line and page breaks can differ from Word. Headers, footers, text boxes and colours are not reproduced. For an exact copy of the original, use Save as PDF in Word.
  • Older .doc files are converted as plain text. Save the file as .docx in Word to keep headings, tables and pictures.
  • Latin, Cyrillic, Greek and Vietnamese text is supported. Other writing systems, such as Arabic or Chinese, appear as question marks.
  • Password-protected files need the password removed in Word first.
